Appreciation of the individual differences among children and the need for just the right placement for their child.

Total Confidentiality.
We are your child's advocate. Your child's interests are our top priority.
We meet our clients at our Texas and Arizona offices.
We also travel nationwide to meet with clients at or near their home. We meet with each student in person to establish a rapport and fully understand their needs. This includes visiting a student in a wilderness program who is ready for the next placement.
We visit all schools and programs that we recommend to our students on a regular basis to remain informed of the school's true profile.
We specialize in a highly individualized approach to each student's situation.
To insure objectivity, we do not accept compensation from educational institutions or any place we recommend for our clients.
Experience our first-hand knowledge with our hands-on approach.
An integral part of educational consulting is the ability to stay current on the ever-advancing edge of educational options. We spend 20 to 25 Percent of our time annually visiting colleges, schools, residential treatment centers, emotional growth/therapeutic programs, and wilderness programs nationwide.
You are about to make a major financial commitment to your child's future growth. Our lack of affiliation with any educational institution is your assurance that your child will take the next step in an appropriate and supportive setting.

The Consultation Appointment
We like to meet with the whole family and then with the parents and student separately. The initial meeting may take several hours, depending on the situation, and a second meeting is often necessary. Continued communication is conducted by phone and e-mail.
Testing
For those students with current testing, we can assist you in understanding the results and how to best utilize the testing information. We also offer academic and intellectual testing in our office by master's level assessors with extensive experience in evaluating students with learning disabilities.
Consulting
You will be asked to complete a series of forms and to provide us with a copy of all prior testing, as well as current report cards or transcripts.
After reviewing all of your information, we discuss with you the types of schools we recommend and their specialties in relationship to your child.
Contact & Admissions Process
Once the initial consultation is complete, we contact specific schools and/or programs and send their admission office all pertinent information about your child. Together we evaluate your child's specific needs.
When possible matches are found we ask the school or program to save a space - if they have one or are in a position to do so. They will then immediately send information and an application to you. We will assist you in completing applications, setting up interviews, and help you in any other way you might need assistance.
Follow Up
Once placement is complete we follow your child through to graduation from that school or program through report cards and progress reports sent to us by your child's school. We remain in contact with you and we are available to assist you throughout your child's stay or with future placements.
